Jennifer Lawrence has spoken about the H2O tattoo on her hand, and admitted that she made a bit of a mistake with the inking.
The X-Men star has a barely-there tattoo reading H2O on her right hand, and discussed the “mistake” on Conan O’Brian’s show.
“I have ‘I’m stupid’ tattooed on my hand permanently,” she joked to Conan “because it’s H-squared! I didn’t go to school. I’m an uneducated idiot.”
Thankfully, the tattoo isn’t very noticeable because of it’s light pink colour, which she described as the colour of a “scar”.
“I mixed the colour because I never wanted a tattoo.”
J-Law also spoke about how her Hunger Games co-stars were supposed to get tattoos as well but they backed out.
“We were, like, together after The Hunger Games and Josh was gonna come and meet up and then everybody was getting tattoos and so I was like, ‘I don’t wanna get a tattoo’, so I got one the colour of a scar and I got it on wrong and then Liam bailed and didn’t get a tattoo, and Josh never got one either.”
O’Brien then said: “What – they said, ‘You go first’ and then they didn’t do it?”
To which Lawrence replied: “I’m the goose.”
Earlier this year she commented on her tattoo at Comic-Con and described it as not a real tattoo.
“You know, I call this tattoo a watered-down rebellion because it’s not like a real tattoo.
“It’s just like, I was with Liam’s family and everybody was getting tattoos and I was like, well, I’m always going to need to be hydrated, so I guess I should just get an H2O on my hand.
“By the way, I know that the two is high and H2O the two is supposed to be low. I should’ve Googled it before I got it tattooed on my body forever.”
Yep, probably should have, Lawrence. But that’s why we love you.
