How to make the perfect Negroni

The Negroni is a cocktail designed for a sophisticated palate, which makes it perfect for any GLAMOURous summer soiree!

Considered an apéritif, it was invented in Florence, Italy in the early 1900’s. Based on the ‘Americano’, the Negroni substitutes soda water with Gin and replaces the lemon flourish of the former with a sweet orange garnish.

Here’s how to make the perfect summer Negroni.

Ingredients

1 part Gordon’s Gin

1 part Campari

1 part Vermouth Rosso

1 slice orange

1 slice orange peel

Method

- Chill a tumbler glass with a few block of ice.

- Pour your ingredients over the ice.

- Gently stir ingredients.

- Invert and squeeze orange peel over glass to release the oils contained in the skin to enhance the flavour.

- Garnish the side of the glass with the slice of orange

- Drink and enjoy responsibly.
