4 Ways to work poolside locks

Dive in and don’t be afraid to get your hair wet this summer! High gloss or slicked back, just-soaked hairstyles are making a comeback this season. Here’s how to make a splash.

Polished pony

Work a smoothing lotion through damp hair and apply a shine serum only from roots to mid-lengths. Pull back into a high ponytail, smoothing any bumps with a fine-tooth comb. Secure with a clear elastic and finish off your look with a shine-boosting gloss.

Glazed updo

Coat hair with a hard-hold product and distribute it from roots to ends using a fine-tooth comb. Then comb a walnut-sized dollop of gel through the hair, twist hair into a low ponytail and secure in a slick chignon.

Glossy twist

Saturate wet hair with a leave-in conditioning spray. Then spritz on a setting lotion and comb through from roots to tips. Gather hair into a ponytail and twist into a tight coil. Pin and mist your crown with shine spray.

Slicked back

Work a light-hold mousse through towel-dried hair and run a paddle brush through to evenly distribute it. Simply comb locks back and smooth a shine-enhancing gel onto your crown only (the ends should remain gel-free to get a contrast in texture when your hair dries).
