3 Tips for runway-ready hair

The Zac Posen spring-summer 2016 was full of softness and simplicity, achieved with details like cording, hinge-stitching and slits. But what stood out most for us were the four different hairstyles sported by the models!

The hairstyles were created by Odile Gilbert for Moroccanoil. He captured the individual personality of each model with four distinct hairstyles on the runway – down and natural, voluminous curls, a low, a sleek ponytail and a low chignon.

Gilbert has spilled the details on how he achieved such beautiful runway-ready looks.

He created each style, as versatile as they are, by using three primary Moroccanoil products plus the addition of a styling tool (3cm barrel curling iron, diffuser, etc.).

To set the foundation of each hairstyle, Gilbert used Moroccanoil Treatment. This also improves the hair’s softness, shine and manageability.

Gilbert then applied a small amount of Moroccanoil Hydrating Styling Cream to the natural styles for definition and soft hold. For the sleeker styles, he used a bit more for shine, frizz control and hold.

For a long lasting hold and runway shine, he lightly misted the styles with Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray.
