Nomzamo Mbatha and Maps Maponyane star in the new romantic comedy Tell Me Sweet Something which opens in cinemas nation wide today(4/09/2015).
Neutrogena ambassador Nomzamo plays Moratiwa; an aspiring novelist that owns and runs a book store in Johannesburg CBD. Her business is in dire condition and not experiencing much success and to make matters worse, her love life is in just as much of an unsuccessful mess.
Her luck changes when she meets handsome male model Nat(Maps Maponyane); who has never picked up a book in his life and is desperate search for appreciation of his mind and soul as he’s always been loved for his body and what his exterior looks like.
The two instantly become infatuated with each other and their whirlwind romance starts off promisingly until Nat’s ex girlfriend Sashi puts a spanner in the works and ignites numerous complications for Moratiwa and Nat’s relationship. Sashi drops the bomb that she is pregnant and Nat is the father. Yikes!
Directed by critically acclaimed Nigerian born South African actor and writer, Akin Omotso; this romantic comedy promises to be a good one especially for those that love a good love story.
