David Beckham is starring in a new campaign video for H&M, alongside comedian Kevin Hart…
After teasing fans and shoppers with a 30-second trailer, the full film has now been unveiled in FULL. It’s actually pretty long – well, six minutes and thirty seconds, but in it you can see Davey B doing his thing, from having his breakfast to lying in his bed.

“Kevin Hart is one of the funniest, smartest guys around,” says Beckham. “I love to do the unexpected for my H&M campaigns. I hope everyone enjoys watching it as much as I did making it.”
When asked whether he learnt anything about himself after watching Kevin play him, David Beckham said: “It’s always an interesting experience to see someone else’s view of how you are. I guess I’m not aware of having a particular pose or look, I’m just being myself. So it’s funny to see that my actions and the way I move are also part of my character. I’ve always thought it was important to not take yourself too seriously, and this campaign is the perfect chance to show why.”
According to Kevin Hart, David was quite the diva on set: “He told me not to screw it up and he wished I was taller.” Overall, Kevin found playing David Beckham “very easy” because “the thing that David and I have in common is sexiness. It comes naturally to me.”
The film is part of the campaign for the brand’s ‘Modern Essentials selected by David Beckham’ collection, which lands in stores and online on 1 October.
