4 Unreal low-carb desserts

Looking for desserts that taste rich and creamy without the added guilt? Then you need to try these. Yes, they’re sugar-free and low-carb, but that doesn’t mean these smooth, creamy mousses aren’t insanely delicious.

LOW-CARB MOUSSE

Chocolate mousse

- 1 cup fresh cream

- 2 Tbsp cocoa powder

- 1 Tbsp xylitol

- 1 tsp vanilla extract

Berry mousse

- 1 cup fresh cream

- ½ cup strawberry purée (about 1 cup whole fresh or thawed frozen strawberries, blended)

- 1 Tbsp xylitol

- 1 tsp vanilla extract

Granadilla mousse

- 1 cup fresh cream

- Pulp from 2 granadillas

- 1 Tbsp xylitol

- 1 tsp vanilla extract

Lemon cheesecake mousse

- 1 cup fresh cream

- 2 Tbsp cream cheese

- 2 Tbsp lemon juice

- 1 Tbsp xylitol

- 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method

Whip all the ingredients together using an electric mixer until fluffy and decadent.

*These can all be enjoyed as a dessert on their own or can be added as toppings or fillings for cakes, waffles, scones or brownies.
