How to create Bryce Dallas Howard’s parted ‘do

What could be better than a high gloss ‘do that perfectly complements a structured dress? That’s what Moroccanoil hair pro Adir Abergel thought when he created this parted look for Jurassic Park World star Bryce Dallas Howard. “I loved the sheen and architectural lines of Bryce’s dress, so to mirror that with her hairstyle, I created a sleek and modern ponytail,” explains Adir. Here’s how you can get the red carpet look, at home.

1 Prep damp strands

First, towel dry wet hair and create a deep side part. T he part should be lined up with the highest arch of the brow. Then apply a 50c-size amount of styling creme like Moroccanoil Treatment Light from roots-to-ends for a healthy, shiny finish. Follow with a 20c-size amount of styling gel to shape the fringe and give them long-lasting hold.

2 Dry it off

Blow dry hair smooth and flat then flat-iron the ends for an ultra-sleek finish.

3 Pull it back

Keep the fringe still sweeping to the side while brushing the remaining hair back into a ponytail and secure with elastic. Apply a generous spritz of hairspray like Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray Strong. Merge the side-swept section into the ponytail for a polished and edgy ponytail.

4 To finish

To flatten flyaways, smooth a styling gel like Moroccanoil Styling Gel over the roots and spray with hairspray.
