Fifty Shades of Grey  fans are you sitting down? Good, because we have some VERY exciting news!

E.L. James’s new novel Grey is launching on June 18th (yes, Thursday!), and to celebrate the release of what will surely be a ‘best seller’  takealot.com is slashing the price of the book. You’ll be able to get your hands on  Grey  for only R99!

1  Fifty Shades of Grey was developed from a Twilight fan fiction series originally titled Master of the Universe. It featured characters named after Stephanie Meyer’s lead characters, Bella Swan and Edward Cullen.

Talk show queen and publishing mogul Oprah Winfrey is an unashamed fan of the books.

3 Author E.L. James’ original pen name was ‘Snowqueen’s Icedragon’

4 The first film in the series, released in February 2015, set numerous records, including the highest Valentine’s Day gross and the biggest February opening weekend of all time.

5 In the books, the phrase “my inner goddess” is mentioned 115 times by Anastasia’s inner monologue. The movies did not utilise this aspect of the book at all.
