Hilary Duff is seen on two real-life Tinder dates in her new music video, Sparks.
The 27-year-old singer, who in February filed for divorce from her estranged husband Mike Comrie, intertwines live footage of herself going bowling and go kart racing with colourful choreographed dance scenes.
Footage from a radio interview is also used, where she recently admitted that she was using Tinder to spice up her love life.
The video perhaps shed light on why she was so vocal about joining online dating – because it provided a whole lot of material for her music video.
The video opens with Hilary admitting to being on Tinder during a radio interview and when asked what she’s doing, she rhetorically replied, ‘what is everybody doing on Tinder?’
She told ‘Valentine in the Morning’ on 104.3 MYFM radio in Los Angeles: “I was sitting with my friends one night at the house and we were joking around. In my life, I have always had really serious boyfriends. I’ve always met people through work and I have never been on a blind date. What’s the worst that could happen?
“I have my first date tonight and I’m really, really nervous.
“We’re going bowling, so it can’t be too expensive. I like that. I’ve never dated just a total normie.”
