Now trending: Matte skin

If there’s one thing we can take from the Chanel runway this season, it’s all about the skin, pale pink lips and defined brows. And who could forget a sleek line of liquid liner to pull the look together? Here’s how to get the look:

Step 1:

Apply a matte foundation over the entire face to set the tone for this simple yet elegant look. Use a foundation brush for smooth, even application. Try Clarins Ever Matte Foundation SPF15 Oil Free(R395).

Step 2

: Conceal any dark circles and unwanted bags to finish off the flawless matte feel using CK One 3 in 1 Concealer Pen(R310) under the eye area.

Step 3

: Using Revlon Colorstay Eyeliner in Black(R150) line the top lash line sticking as close to your lashes as possible to create a thin but perfectly defined line to make the eyes pop.

Step 4:

Apply two coats of Smashbox Photo Op Eye Brightening Mascara(R270) to your top and bottom lashes.

Step 5

: As it’s all in the brows, this step must not be missed – using Smashbox Brow Tech To Go(R280) comb the brows upwards and into shape. Fill them in using light feathery movements and then set them with the soft-hold brow gel.

Step 6:

Complete your look with a wash of pink lipstick to the lips. It’s subtle, so be gentle and precise when applying. Try Estée Lauder Pure Color Long Lasting Lipstick in Sugar Honey(R295).

TIP: Apply an oil-free primer (like Smashbox Photo Finish Oil Free Foundation Primer Pore Minimising) before applying your foundation throughout the day if you worry about shine.
