Georgia May Jagger has been given a Minnie Mouse makeover ahead of the ‘Minnie Style’ exhibition, which runs between September 18 – 22 as part of London Fashion Week.
The 23-year-old model has worked with British designer Ashley Williams for Dazed Magazine to create a modern interpretation of the Disney character ahead of the ‘Minnie Style’ exhibition at London Fashion Week. Georgia said: “I’ve always been a Minnie fan so I’m really excited to be working on this campaign, showing how pop culture can influence fashion in a way that encourages excitement and creativity. “Minnie is fun, independent and super-stylish, and it was great working with Ashley and Dazed Magazine to create a modern British interpretation of this, and provide inspiration for the exhibition.”
The images are to form part of the exhibition, which will run between September 18 – 22 as part of London Fashion Week, showcasing just some of the many times the famous character has been used for style inspiration since its beginnings in 1928. The Dazed magazine Spring / Summer 2015 issue is available on shelves from April 9th.
