Bringing zen to the winelands was the Red Carpet Concepts and Glamour Magazine Glam Yoga Camp held on Sunday 12 April 2015, at Cassia on Nitida Wine Farm. Ten Glamour readers and their friends were selected to enjoy a day of pure pampering whilst finding inner balance amongst the vineyards and lush rolling hills of the Durbanville winelands.
After arriving in style with Uber, the day unfolded with a Hot Dog Yoga guided hour of Ashtanga beside the lake with gorgeous views spilling out onto the surrounding greens. Nitida Matriarch MCC was brought out soon after for the Glamour guests to celebrate, accompanied by delicious Mediterranean Delicacies picnics, packed with salmon, spreads, cheeses and dips for an indulgent Sunday post-workout feast. Between the lounging and dining the fabulous team of Foxers from FoxBox treated each of the twenty guests with a manicure to round off the day in true Glamour style before departing with goody bags filled to the brim with an array of generous gifts.
LifeStraw international award-winning water filter brand saw each of the guests off with a LifeStraw Go Bottle – an essential for clean water on the go, wherever you are. The bottles can be used to scoop up water from any source other than sea water, eliminating all germs, bacteria and turbidity. Leading skin care brand, Nimue, gave each guest a skincare pack fitted with a Vitamin C Moisture Mist and ladies lip balm for ultra-hydration through the winter months ahead. Other gifts included a Hot Dog Yoga voucher, Mediterranean Delicacies cooler bag and products as well as, of course, a copy of Glamour Magazine.
What better way to spend a sunny Sunday stretching, breathing, strengthening and balancing followed by bubbly, indulgence and pampering in the winelands.
