How to contour your face in minutes

Kim Kardashian is to contouring what Cindy Nell-Roberts is to self-tanning. Before KK started posting pics of her contouring her face, very few of us knew anything about it. And while full contouring takes a LOT of time and even more practice, you can cheat the look in a matter of minutes.

You’ll need:

– A big, flat brush and a blending brush. We love the Inglot 24SS dual ended brush that combines both, R389

– Powder bronzer – don’t use too dark a shade, or your skin will look muddy. Try Clarins Bronzing Duo SPF15 Mineral Powder Compact, R395.

– Your regular blush

– A cream highlighter. We swear by Smashbox Halo Highlighting Wand, R380.

Looking straight into a mirror, pull your best fish pout and use the tip of the big brush to blend bronzer into the hollows under your cheek bones. Get easy – remember it’s easier to add than it is to remove.

Stand back to see the full effect. When you’re happy with the definition, blend up and out towards your temples.

Next, smile and apply your blush with the blending brush to the outer edges of the apples of your cheeks. Again, blend up and out.

Finally, dot highlighter along the top of your cheekbones. This will give you a natural, dewy glow.
