Lindsay Lohan’s narrow escape

Lindsay Lohan has completed her community service!

The 28-year-old actress is set to receive a letter of completion from the Community Service Volunteers centre in London after finishing the 240 hours she was required to do as part of her probation requirements following a reckless driving offence in 2012.

According to gossip website TMZ, Lindsay could either have finished the sentence yesterday (27.01.15) or this morning (28.01.15) just before the court hearing that is to be held later today.

Lindsay will not be in attendance in court but her lawyer Shawn Holley will be there in her place to give the judge the letter, which the community centre was reportedly readying to send shortly before her court date.

Earlier this week, Lindsay was said to be rushing to complete the final part of her community service to avoid a possible jail stint.

While she was said to be confident of amassing the hours required, it was thought the prosecutor may recommend prison time if she fell short of her time.

Lindsay was initially ordered to complete 30 days service by 6 November 2015 but was given a new date after only finishing half of the stretch, and she was hampered over the festive period as the London-based community service centre was closed for two weeks.

What’s more, she went on holiday to Bora Bora where she contracted Chikungunya, a debilitating, untreatable virus caused by mosquito bites, and ended up in hospital, yet managed to finish her community service just in time it appears.
