A unique way to ask your BFFs to be bridesmaids!

The absolute sweetest thing happened to me not so long ago: one of my dearest friends (she’s also one of my bridesmaids, which you can read about here) asked me to be her bridesmaid, too. Awesome! But as special as that is in itself, it was the amazing way she did it that really blew me away. It was so amazing, in fact, I thought I’d share it with you, as a great idea any bride-to-be can steal and make their own. So, what did Kris (the special friend in question) do, exactly? She put together thoughtful Bridesmaid Survival Kits for each of us, filled with everything we could possibly need to be her bridesmaids.

Inside the boxes? This thoughtful and fun list of goodies, geared towards what being a bridesmaid is all about. (Everything was individually labelled with the reason why Kris included it.)

- Deodorant – for all the hard work we’ll be doing on the big day

- An energy drink – pretty self-explanatory!

- A party popper and horn – to celebrate the good times ahead

- Plasters – for running around in heels

- Safety pins – for those last-minute emergencies

- A measurement form – to fill out for having our bridesmaids’ dresses made

- A tank top with ‘Bridesmaid’ embroidered on it – for when we’re having our makeup done on the day

- Tissues – strictly only tears of joy allowed!

- A paper doll of Kris and her fiancé, with paper wedding clothes – to ‘dress them up’ in

- A cereal bar – for an energy boost (and if we get peckish between things)

- A tin of Zambuc – to keep our pouts looking perfect, regardless of stress or stuff to do

And the icing on the cake? Kris’ very own way of asking us to say ‘Yes’ – beautiful matching rings, fitted for our non-ring finger hands. So sweet, so pretty!
