HOW TO: Find the right sunglasses for your face shape

Finding sunglasses in the right shape for your face can seem like mission impossible, but this guide should make it a bit easier!

Round Shape

If you have a round face like Selena Gomez, go for square- or rectangular-shaped sunglasses. Your face has more obvious curves and has no sharply defined lines, so the cornered frames will make your face look slimmer and longer. Sunglasses that sit high on the temple and that have colourful frames will work best.

Square Shape

If you have a square-shaped face, you have a strong jawline and a broad forehead. an oval-or round-shaped glass. Round, oval or cat-eye sunglasses will help soften the lines of your face and give you a more balanced look. Aviators or butterfly frames are also flattering shapes.

 Heart Shape

A heart-shaped face is wide at the temples and narrow at the chin. Cat-eye, butterfly or oversized frames or aviators are the most flattering sunglasses because they don’t have straight lines along the top and will shift attention downward, elongating your face.

Oval Shape

People with oval faces are lucky because they can rock any kind of frame! One tip is to stay away from oversized frames as they hide your symmetrical features – but whether you’re wearing aviators, John Lennons, wayfarers or cat-eyed sunglasses, you’re guaranteed to look amazing!
