Remove glitter nail polish in five quick steps

We love glitter polish, but what we really don’t love is removing it. How many of us have spent ages scraping and rubbing our nails to remove that stubborn glitter, only to eventually have it everywhere?

We’ve found a trick that makes removing it far less laborious… Treat glitter nail polish like gel!

1. Soak a cotton pad in nail polish remover. Make sure it’s one that contains acetone – you’ll need the big guns to rid yourself of the sparkles.

2. Press the soaked pad down onto the nails, and cover in a square of foil.

3. Wrap the foil tightly around each nail and leave for 5 minutes.

4. After 5 minutes, pull the foil and the cotton pad off together, pressing down on the nail while you do so.

5. Your nails should be glitter free, but if there is any left, use a nail buffer to gently remove glitter nail polish.

Now that you’ve solved your glitter trouble, why not learn how to remove gel polish at and get rid of stubborn colour stains?
