Marc Jacobs launches pop-up store for New York Fashion Week


Just in case you thought your tweets and Facebook posts are worthless, Marc Jacobs is working on a plan for lucky fashion loving New Yorkers to change that! To celebrate New York Fashion Week, the Marc Jacobs fragrance division is launching a pop-up shop called the Daisy Marc Jacobs Tweet Shop. The shop will be taking social currency in exchange for small accessories and fragrances – that’s every tweet, Instagram and Facebook post that’s put up with the hashtag #MJDaisyChain.

The shoppers will also be entered into a daily competition where they can win more prizes. The idea of buying something using social media sounds exciting and it got the GLAM team thinking. So we’d like to know: what would you buy with your social media currency?
