The 2014 Grammy winners

In the early hours of this morning (South African time), French duo Daft Punk grabbed Best Song and Best Album at the Grammy Awards 2014, taking home the Best Album award for Random Access Memories and both Record of the Year and Best Pop Duo or Group performance for their collaboration with Pharrell Williams and Nile Rodgers, ‘Get Lucky’.

Pop sensation Lorde took home the third big prize of the night, winning Song of the Year, for her debut single and breakthrough hit, ‘Royals’.

Hip-hop duo Macklemore & Lewis also had a great night, taking home four of the seven awards they were nominated for: Best New Artist, Best Rap Album, Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance for their fun track ‘Thrift Shop’.
