Orlando Bloom hates leaving his son

Orlando Bloom can’t bear to be away from his son.

The 36-year-old actor is sometimes forced to be apart from wife, model Miranda Kerr, and their two-year-old son Flynn when working but is reluctant to spend more than a few weeks away from the his little boy.

The doting dad told InStyle magazine: “I won’t spend more than two or three weeks away from him.”

If he is forced to spend more time away from him he added: “I start to twitch and feel really weird.”

Meanwhile Miranda “doesn’t spend more than a week” away from the tiny tot because “she won’t, she can’t.”

Orlando is currently performing every night in a new Broadway theatre production of ‘Romeo and Juliet’, in which he plays the titular heartthrob, and as Flynn is not in school yet they have been able to stay in New York City since the summer.

He added: “Flynn is not in school yet, so we’re still pretty loosey-goosey. We’re a bit of a traveling circus.”

Despite their hectic schedules Miranda and Orlando are still going strong.

The former Victoria Secret’s Angel was thoroughly impressed by her actor spouse’s dedication to his craft and his ability to perform every night in the production of Shakespeare’s tragic love story.

She previously gushed: “When I saw Orlando on Broadway in ‘Romeo and Juliet’, I was blown away. For someone to be able to learn all that and hold the energy to do it every day, six days a week – I have so much respect for him.”
