While we all love a bit of costume jewellery to GLAM up an outfit, there’s still nothing like a classic investment piece like this Kirsten Goss ‘mixed onion’ bracelet (R1930).

Don’t underestimate the power of this simple but incredibly elegant arm candy which will add a touch of class to any outfit. And if you consider how many times you’ll probably wear it, it’s certainly worth the investment!

Available from kirstengoss.com or at the Kirsten Goss store in Bree street, Cape Town or the Birdhaven Centre in Joburg.

We raved about the summer versions of these two iconic scents last year, and thankfully the Thierry Mugler 2013 limited edition incarnations are just as good!

The Alien Aqua Chic is a citrusy fragrance with lemon blossom and pink grapefruit, reminiscent of a Mediterranean garden in the summer. While the Angel Aqua Chic is more of a fruits-of-the-forest kind of scent. With notes such as raspberry blossom, patchouli and vanilla, it’s delicously fruity!

Whether you prefer citrus scents or more berry tones, both are the perfect addition to your summer wardrobe! Angel Aqua Chic EDT comes in a 50ml bottle and the Alien Aqua Chic EDT in a 60ml one for R675 each. They are available at Thierry Mugler counters from this week.

From Beyoncé to Lily Collins and the GLAMOUR fashion director Bronwyn Day (who was spotted in this exact look at the GLAMOUR Fashion Week party!) everybody who’s anybody has been spotted flashing flesh the flattering way.

We love this tribal-print crop top (R40) and matching tube skirt (R70) from Mr Price because the print is as hot as the cut! To finish the look sweep your hair into a sexy ‘do, throw on a hot pair of heels grab a simple clutch and get ready to blow the boys away.

Love a gorgeous mani but don’t have the time to do it yourself?

The new generation of stick-ons from Broadway Nailsm, which are thin and easy to work with, makes getting a manicure as quick as brushing your teeth! (They’re a far cry from those hideous thick talons you used to get.)

Today we’re loving imPRESS Press-On Manicures! Packaged in a cool nail varnish bottle-shaped tub with 24 nail covers in 12 different sizes, there are enough for two applications. Each nail cover has a little plastic tab that you simply pull off, then press down the cover onto your nail. That’s it!

Although they say they’ll last up to a week, unless you’re extremely careful with your nails, we reckon you should get a good three days wear out of them. Available in a variety of colours patterns (R99.99 each), you’ll find them on the shelves of selected Clicks, Dis-Chem and Foschini stores nationwide.

From seeing celebs like Beyoncé to Diane Kruger rocking crop tops at sophisticated soirées, it’s clear that this item is no longer reserved for the beach! The trick? Keep it sophisticated and don’t show too much of your tum.

This geek-chic cropped tee from Foxy (R199) is the perfect item to try the trend! Team it with a pair of high waisted jeans or shorts and flatforms, or a cute checked skirt and chunky boots. Even if you have abs like Miley Cyrus (we wish!) the secret is in wearing high waisted bottoms so you don’t show too much skin.

The girls at GLAMOUR HQ love a good slipper! But, then again, who doesn’t?

We’re loving these crocodile print slippers (R1200) from local brand Cinnamon – owned by the Joburg based entrepreneur Frances Koep – not just because they are seriously pretty, (and will really add that wow-factor to a simple denim and tee look) but because they’re handmade in SA. Another reason we love them? The brand is committed to giving something back to local communities – if you donate a pair of children’s shoes which are still in good condition when you purchase Cinnamon shoes online, they’ll donate your old shoes to the Nkhensani Orphanage and you’ll get 15% off your new shoes! Now that’s what we call giving back.

The gorgeous French brand Bourjois is celebrating 150 years of make-up magic. Their little round pots are just as famous today as they were when they were launched in the 1800s. So much so that 16 million are sold every year!

Created by actor, Joseph-Albert Ponsin for fellow Parisian actors and actresses, the brand has expanded to shelves in over 120 countries including Clicks stores in South Africa. Yes, you’ll find the products at Clicks V&A, Tygervalley, Cresta, Kolonnade and Gateway; with plans to launch into another 25 Clicks stores countrywide from September. But if there isn’t a store near you and you can’t wait that long, you can also find it on rubybox.
