Gisele’s eye for design has also increased her income, with her stake in Brazilian footwear company Grendene and her own lingerie label both proving profitable investments.
The 33-year-old star’s remarkable earnings will be tough to beat since former Victoria’s Secret model, Miranda Kerr, came in second place with a mere $7 million. While the Australian beauty boasts Kora Organics beauty line to her name as well as deals with Qantas, David Jones and Mango, her earnings are still seven times less than Gisele’s.
Meanwhile, eight out of ten models on the list are either current Victoria’s Secret Angels or have modelled for the lingerie label in the past, proving the lingerie brand’s exposure has been profitable for its alumni.
Model of the moment Cara Delevingne was notable by her absence in the top 10, but is likely to climb up the ranks in the future.
South African model Candice Swanepoel rose to ninth place, having earned $3 million, this is the Victoria’s Secret model’s third year on the list. Meanwhile, Kate Moss fell from second to fourth place, despite seeing her earnings triple last year, raking in £11.7 million from October 2011 to October 2012.
