Go from boardroom to bar in a flash

Got a hot date or meeting friends for a drink after work but don’t have time to go home first and GLAM up? Don’t worry, here’s how to get gorgeous in a flash!

1 Minute: freshen-up your face

Mineral foundations are great for touch-ups as you can just add them ontop of your existing foundation with out it going patchy. If you have dry skin ensure you use a liquid formula and apply with a sponge. If you have slightly oilier skin you can buff some powder formula over your existing base.

2 Minutes: highlight

Highlighting will make you look fresh and healthy in a flash. I’d suggest highlighting powder for pale skins and bronzer for darker skins. Apply with a big, fluffy brush to the cheekbones, temples, chin and down the bridge of the nose.

3 Minutes: bright eyes

If your eyes are tired and red from staring at your screen for eight hours revitalise them with eye drops, then add a hint of sparkle to your peepers by smudging a shimmery eye pencil into the lash line over the top of your existing eye make-up. Finally, curl your lashes and apply a coat of mascara.

4 Minutes: lips

A red or berry lip is a great way to look like you’ve made a big effort, while pink-based tones will make your teeth look pearly white. Fill in your whole lip with lip liner in the same colour as your lipstick before applying as it will make it last longer. Don’t forget to put your lippie in your bag for touch-ups later!

5 Minutes: hair

We’ve told you before – dry shampoo is your BFF. Spray onto the roots, leave for a minute or two, and brush through. It will give your hair body and bounce that you never thought possible at 17h30! Clicks has a huge range of dry shampoos. For extra bounce, tie your hair into a topknot during the day – it will create gorgeous curls without the need for a curling tong.
