Rihanna cancelled her shows in Houston and Dallas in Texas earlier this week after two “days from hell” because of her continuing laryngitis.
The ‘Stay’ singer has been suffering from a prolonged bout of laryngitis which stopped her performing as part of her Diamonds World Tour in Houston on Monday and Dallas the following night.
Referring to an April 11 show, she wrote on Instagram, “I was sick since San Diego! I kept working because I thought two days off after the Vegas show would be enough time to recover and I f—ed up, those were two days off from hell and today is not different!
“I’m sad and disappointed about it! I had all kinds of plans for Houston!”
Rihanna was pictured leaving a doctor yesterday ahead of pulling out of the Dallas show. She has also previously had to cancel shows in Boston and Baltimore last month due to her illness.
The ‘Umbrella’ singer has reportedly been told by doctors to slow down, and also cut down on her partying.
A source said, “Rihanna’s illness was so severe doctors warned it could take months for her to fully recover.
“They told her she needs to make some serious lifestyle changes, or risk this happening again.”
The Diamonds World Tour is now set to resume on April 19 in Tampa, Florida.
