The Spice Girls star-turned-fashion designer traditionally debuts her new collections during New York Fashion Week and despite recently moving back to Britain with husband David Beckham and their four children, she insists there is no reason why she would change locations with her work.
Asked if she will present in London, she said, “Not yet! I mean, look, never say never but at the moment things are good for me in America. I’m very proud to be British, but I love showing there. I have no reason at all to move.”
Victoria was delighted by how well her latest collection was received at New York Fashion Week.
She said, “It was amazing to get such a great response for both collections. It means so much to me and my team, I just don’t have the words to describe how it feels.”
And the 37-year-old star – a recent judge of the Woolmark Prize – admits she finds it “odd” to be asked to give advice to aspiring designers.
She told Grazia magazine, “It feels so odd to be giving advice. I just always listen to my tummy and go with my instinct.”
