The “How We Do” singer – who previously dated Robert Kardashian – isn’t interested in being in a relationship at the moment because she’s too busy having fun with her best pal 20-year old model Cara Delevingne.
The 22-year old British singer told The Sun newspaper, “I have no time for the opposite sex at the moment. Strictly none. I’ve only got a wifey!
“She’s officially mine. She’s, like, untouchable. I’ve taken her off the market. We call each other ‘wifey’.
“You know what a wifey means? It’s like your other half. Like when you get married, like, that’s your wife!”
Rita admitted she missed having her friend at her concert in London this week.
She said, “Cara’s in New York for Fashion Week so she couldn’t make this week. I’m a bit sad. Of course, we talk all the time – she was just texting me now.
“I met Cara a long time ago at a festival. We hung out because we have a few mutual friends.
“We didn’t see each other for a few months, then I saw her again and our careers were getting busier at the same time. We are really similar but come from totally different backgrounds. I found someone who is exactly like me who isn’t really from my world.
“We just kept seeing each other and naturally started talking more and more. And now we’re always together.”
Rita has been single since her split from Rob late last year. He later posted a series of venomous comments on his Twitter page accusing her of having “unprotected sex” with 20 other men while she was with him.
However, Rita has claimed she had to end it with Rob because she didn’t have any time to see him.
She said, “I’m not going out with Rob. We were close for a while, but it didn’t work because I was never there. I was like a ghost. I used to get so frustrated with myself and then wonder why I was angry, so I decided it was best to keep it friendly – especially at the moment, when there’s so much going on.”
