How cute are these pics of Blue Ivy visiting the White House?
Pics just in: The SAG Awards
Kerry Washington at the SAGs
Take your cue from Kerry's minimalistic, yet über chic look by playing up one feature. Here, Kerry focused the attention on her eyes with a smoky bronze shadow. Tip: Apply a gold highlight to the inner corners of your eyes for maximum impact and pair with a nude lip for a subtle, yet sexy pout.
Lea Michele at the SAGs
Miss Michele was pretty in pink, literally. She brought a little edge to the red carpet by pairing her pink Valentino gown with a light smoky eye and long ombré locks (love the fringe, Lea!). Love her straight strands? Copy the look by applying a heat protecting straightening lotion to damp hair before blowdrying. Run a flat iron over lengths and finish off with a spritz of shine spray.
Anne Hathaway at the Golden Globes
Anne paired her strapless Chanel gown with a fresh face and understated makeup. 'I didn't want to add any lines to her eyes - it would turn the look into something completely different, something very grown-up, and I wanted the makeup to feel youthful,' says makeup pro Kate Lee who gave Anne's eyes a subtle wash of lilac shadow. Steal her style by applying a greyish shadow to your entire lid and simply finish off the look with black mascara for full, fluttery lashes.
Julianne Moore at the SAGs
Julianne Moore proves that sideswept styles are big news for award season. 'I was most inspired by style icon Veronica Lake and the blonde model from the new Dior campaigns,' says celeb stylist Chris McMillan, who created this look. To copy this Old Hollywood 'do create a side part, tuck hair behind your ear and flick ends over the opposite shoulder.
Jessica Chastain at the Golden Globes
Tinseltown's latest 'it girl' wowed on the red carpet with a beauty look worthy of an award or two. Makeup pro Kristofle Buckle used water colours as inspiration for creating Jessica's GLAM look which was complimented by soft, flowing waves. Steal her style by applying highlighter to cheekbones, a sweep of lengthening mascara and add a deep berry lip for a pop of colour.
Amanda Seyfried at the SAGs
It's official: We love Amanda's flaxen locks! 'The inspiration for today was to not overdo it. Keeping Amanda's hair simply sexy and shiny and showing off her beautiful hair with texture,' says her stylist Jenny Cho. Get her loose waves by running a styling crème through damp strands, blowdry and set in large rollers. Then once cool, shake out and flip to one side. Voila!
Jennifer Lawrence at the Golden Globes
The 'Silver Linings Playbook' winner looked radiant in red and definitely takes the award for 'best updo' of the night. To get her plaited chignon, first work a curling mousse into strands to accentuate curls. Then plait your sides and pull the ends into a low, messy bun. Simple, yet chic!
