Beyonce Knowles’ letter of praise

Sources have reported that Beyonce Knowles wrote a gushing public letter of praise for President Barack Obama ahead of yesterday’s American presidential election.

The “Halo” hitmaker has been a vocal supporter of the president and penned the heartfelt letter in which she credited him with “inspiring the future generation”, including her own daughter Blue Ivy, who was born in January.

The 31-year-old wrote: “Every day we see your heart and character, inspiring us to give more of ourselves. You are the leader to take us from where we are to where we need to be. You are the reason my daughter and nephew will grow up knowing that they can truly be ANYTHING they want to be. All my respect and adoration, Beyonce.”

Meanwhile, hubby Jay-Z performed at a rally for President Obama alongside Bruce Springsteen in Columbus, Ohio, on Monday to gather support for the leader against Republican Candidate Mitt Romney.

The rapper, ever so cooly, replaced the lyrics in his hit song “99 Problems”, chanting: “I Got 99 Problems, But Mitt Ain’t One”, much to the delight of the 15 000 strong crowd.

The current American leader and the music mogul are firm friends and Jay-Z , 44, has been a long-time fundraiser and campaigner for Obama.

The president recently admitted he had given Jay-Z parenting advice after Blue Ivy was born in January, joking: “I made sure that Jay-Z was helping Beyonce out. And not leaving it all with mom and the mother-in-law.”

After last night’s results, we’d like to say a huge congratulations to President Obama. Here’s to a prosperous and uplifting four years for America!
