Win with GLAMOUR and African Pride Crystal Towers
African Pride Crystal Towers Hotel & Spa in Century City, Cape Town, has launched its new menu – just in time for summer! GLAMOUR is celebrating this by giving away a night at the ultra-luxurious hotel – including a three-course dinner, bubbly and the best hotel breakfast this side of the Limpopo!
In the Towers Restaurant, Executive Chef Abbas Abrahams has created a plethora of dishes that appeal to a cross section of gourmet palates; from Smoked Plum Tomato Soup and Norwegian Salmon coated in black pepper and coriander, to Patagonian Calamari, Baby Potato and Chorizo Salad. Carnivores aren’t left out, though, with a range of classic South African fare such as the Double Lamb Rack served with a walnut, apple and mint crust, roasted butternut and onion mash.
The deluxe hotel is crammed with exciting venues such as the Pool Bar, overlooking the gorgeous cantilevered deck which floats on the portico, and the intimate Ruby Bar with its creative menu.
In the Ruby Bar, enjoy Lamb and Raisin Spring Rolls, or tuck into the Boerewors Platter that comprises cocktail beef, ostrich and kudu sausage served with sweet chilli coriander chutney.
The Pool Bar is the place to be for summer, though. With a view that stretches from Blouberg to Devil’s Peak, it is the picture perfect postcard view of Cape Town. On the cocktail menu you’ll find the traditional martinis and Cosmos, but more exciting are the bespoke cocktails such as the Crystal Towers Eclipse and Chocolate Strawberry Daiquiri.
The hotel also offers what is arguably the best sushi in Cape Town, and cocktail and sushi sundowners are half price on Thursday to help you get through the final stretch of the working week.
