Take our fashion ed's tips to master the art of dressing one of the prettiest trends: lace! Think soft colours, contrasting fabrics and picnics in the park!
Scroll through the images to get a feel for the trend and then find out how you can be featured on GLAMOUR.co.za!
Play matchy matchy! Don't be scared to match your lace. For a sweet and playful look go head-to-toe in a lace suit - prim has never looked so pretty!
Bring out your playful side! Lace can be quirky too, so why not have some fun? Go for a 60s-inspired look with an A-line coat and fun accessories.
Leather and lace! Lace and leather is a big trend for the season! Just ensure you keep it pretty and try not to Goth it up too much. To finish off the look, just add some soft makeup and simple accessories!
Pop your colour! Coloured lace is a very adventurous way of dressing the trend. Ensure you keep it clean and don't pair more than one tone together - and if you're nervous about matching your shoes, just opt for a pair of nude heels!
Can you say va va voom? What a dress! If you want to really make an impact, feathers and lace are the perfect combination to make you stand out from the crowd.
Shake it up! Lace doesn’t have to always be pretty. Toughen it up with a biker jacket and some loafers (glitzy ones are fabulous) for a more relaxed look.
Here's your chance to show us and your fellow GLAMOUR readers just how stylish you truly are! We want to see what you think the best way to wear the lace trend is. Whether you simply love a lace headscarf or have a sexy lace LBD - we want to know how you wear this trend in real life!
All you need to do is send us your personal style snaps of how to dress the lacea trend! So, put a fabulous outfit together, have someone take a head-to-toe in-focus well-lit photo of you and send it to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line as 'Lace' as well as your name, what you're wearing and how you've dressed the trend. If we love your look we'll feature it on next week's Trend Tuesday - yes, you could be featured on GLAMOUR.co.za!
So GLAM girls, strike a pose and show us how truly stylish you all are! And stay posted as we look for new trends every week!
All images need to be sent in by Monday 10 September!
