With John Mayer and our fave California Girl Katy Perry back to being official, we would assume that Katy would offer him the key to her heart? Oh no, she has only gone and offered him a key to her Los Angeles home!
The relationship between these two stars has certainly heated up since their brief split in August, with Katy so serious about John that she simply had to make the romantic gesture. Close sources told “The Sun” newspaper: “John thinks it is easier to stay in hotels rather than his own L.A. pad [when he visits from New York]. But Katy insists he should stay with her. She thinks it makes sense.”
The couple recently took a trip with mutual friends to Las Vegas, with jokes being passed around about the pair getting married in an Elvis chapel. Despite the stars not going through with the spontaneous wedding, they did enjoy a night out at the notorious Spearmint Rhino strip club.
Onlookers said: “They were together in a group. As for whether they got dances, they were in a strip club… you do the math. But the group had so much fun, they stayed until 5am.”
Katy, 27, was thought to have been left heartbroken when serial-dater John (who has dated a string of Hollywood beauties, including Jennifer Aniston, Jessica Simpson, Taylor Swift and Cameron Diaz) ended their brief fling at the end of last month.
A source said at the time: “She is making it seem like it wasn’t serious with John, but she is hurt.”
After Katy’s luck with men and marriage, we just hope John doesn’t turn out to be The One That Got Away…
