Reality star Kim Kardashian’s new relationship with rapper Kanye West is no secret – they’ve been papped together everywhere from LA to Paris. But behind the scenes Kim is reportedly struggling to fit in with Kanye’s starry friends, Like Jay-Z and his wife Beyonce.
But Kanye is reportedly the European leg of his Watch the Throne tour with Jay-Z to smooth the lines between his curvaceous girlfriend and Ms B by arranging for them to share dinners and a private box as they travel with their performing beaus.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “The girls have never really seen eye-to-eye. It’s a shame because Jay-Z and Kanye are so close. Beyonce has always viewed Kim as a reality TV star who’s not earned her fortune with a specific talent.” And Kanye’s schemes seem to have paid off after Kim and Beyonce were spotted partying together, laughing and dancing while watching Jay-Z and Kanye perform this weekend in the UK.
Despite the scepticism surrounding their new relationship, Kim – who famously split from sports star Kris Humphries after just 72 days of marriage last year – insists that her feelings towards Kanye are genuine. “It’s very comforting to have someone that knows everything about you, that respects you, understands you, and has gone through similar things. I can really relate to his mother passing. He can really relate to my father passing. I mean, there are so many similarities in our life that… I feel like I’m in a really good place.” Here’s to hoping it’s the real deal this time!
