P.S. I’m in Rehab

It’s been a while since we’ve heard from the Scottish hottie Gerard Butler, and now we know why. The actor has been admitted to the Betty Ford Centre, where he is being treated for substance abuse.

Gerard apparently entered the facility three weeks ago, after realising he was becoming dependent on prescription drugs.

His problems were allegedly triggered by the physical demands of shooting ‘300’ in 2006, when he started taking painkillers to cope with numerous injuries that he got while shooting the action film. The problem got worse when the 42-year-old actor was filming ‘Of Men and Mavericks’ when he was badly hurt in December during a surfing accident.

The ‘Bounty Hunter’ star is set to leave the treatment centre today, after a grueling three weeks trying to beat this addiction. Get well soon Gerard – P.S. We love you!
