Our Feb covergirl: from awkward teen to hollywood queen!

She’s come a long way since her unaccredited appearances at the start of her career. Now that Kristen Stewart is a Hollywood starlet clearly on the rise – and on the Hollywood Walk of Fame – we take a look back at some of the roles that got Stewart to where she is now.

After having watched The Twilight Saga, it’s hard to even fathom the idea that Kristen Stewart’s first role was that of a non-speaking part in the fantasy film The Thirteenth Year released in 1999. Since then, she has taken many minor or supporting roles in films such as Panic Room, The Messengers and In the Land of Women, none of which come close to allowing the same scale of success that the Twilight franchise brought Kristen.

“I wasn’t that ‘I want to be famous, I want to be an actor’ kid,” she says. “I never sought out acting, but I always practiced my autograph because I loved pens. I’d write my name on everything.” In hindsight, it’s clearly a good thing that Kristen got in all that practice – as one of the most famous faces of the moment, she’s sure to be putting her passion for pens to good use by signing autographs for millions of fans in the near future!
