Want to spend a magical evening with friends or family to begin the holiday season? Spier wine farm’s annual Festival of White Lights begins on 9 December at 20:00 and involves a journey across the beautiful grounds of Spier, led by an ‘Angel of Light’. The procession begins beside the Spier Dam at 20:00 and ends at the Spier hotel – with a free glass of wine for the grown-ups.
The Festival includes artistic performances along with the dazzling display of lights.
Our advice? Dress warmly, and don’t forget to make dinner reservations at Spier’s Eight restaurant before the event begins.
Tickets can be booked through Computicket and cost R120 for adults and R60 for children under 12.
