Gaga channels Chanel

Lady Gaga indulged the fantasies of little girls and grown women alike as she cut the ribbon of Gaga’s Workshop at Barneys wearing a sleeved Chanel gown designed especially for the occasion by Herr Karl Lagerfeld. Looking something like a modern day fairytale, Gaga’s gown was a confection of black embellishments, with trailing cuffs and hems and in true Chanel-style, reams of pearls.

Gaga’s Workshop takes over the entire fifth floor of the iconic Barneys flagship store and will sell a range of different products inspired by Gaga, including apparel, accessories, cosmetics, candles and toys. It will be open until January 2, 2012, with 25 per cent of sales being donated to Gaga’s charity, the Born This Way Foundation.

After recently being spotted in a peculiar looking hat which resembled a sperm cell, we have to say we think Gaga should channel more Chanel.
