Missoni

Bursting forth in colour and pattern, Missoni’s collection was inspired by a wild, free-spirited and spontaneous party girl, like one of the designer’s own daughters. Not to be confused with gypsy, she called the look more ‘modern bohemian’.

Ruffled tiers brought flamenco to mind, with wild colours and animal prints such as tiger or zebra snuck in under sheer skirts. Asymmetrical pieces fell nonchalantly off the shoulder, often layered with fringed scarves. The bold palette consisted of blues, yellows, magentas, greens and orange, never presenting a dull moment.

Adorned heels made of plexiglass emphasied that these outfits were meant for staying out late on a balmy summer night.
