Taking inspiration from motocross, BMX and NASCAR, some of Alexander Wang’s models even walked with matching biker helmets. The collection was utilitarian and street-ready; featuring cargo pants, floral jumpsuits and dark bomber jackets layered over bright polonecks. Mesh was a recurring theme, on leather dresses, pants and motor-cross jackets. Geometric patterned, race car jumpsuits emphasised the need-for-speed, along with leather capris and minidresses. The collection also took a swing at the ’90s with black or white, striped pointed heels.
